“ Perfect place to stop after a long day of driving. Great atmosphere! The bar is very cozy. Great menu as well. Danny was a gentleman and took exceptional care of me and all my need. ”
“ My wife and I stopped by this establishment on our way home. They had a set menu for breakfast, with I believe four different meal choices. Coffee and orange juice was included, which I thought was great! The great food, service, and atmosphere are reasons for us to return. Hopefully we will get an opportunity to lodge there soon, because if I’m not mistaken, breakfast is complimentary if you are a guest. ”
“ Great home style food. Stopped in the area for the night on the way back from Disney and wanted to try some local southern fair. The chicken was super juicy and tender with good flavor. The chicken Alfredo was super delicious and was a different style than I’m used to with broccoli and mushrooms. The fried green tomatoes were super professional. I’ve never had fried green tomatoes so I have nothing to compare but they were awesome. Crispy on the outside and really Flavorful with the dipping sauces. The place is super old school and has a homey casual feel. I would have loved to eat in the restaurant but with 2 kids sitting in the car for 6 hours that wasn’t happening. Totally recommend for some good food if in the area. ”
“ Old time southern charm. Lots of cool sitting areas. The 1/2 of fried chicken and chicken strips were very tasty and crispy. ”
“ Clark’s Inn and Restaurant has been one of our favorite Sunday dinner spots for the past two years, and this past visit reminded me exactly why. Their Southern charm is unmatched. I called ahead to see if our furry family members could join us, and they were more than welcoming. All eight of us (dogs included) were invited to dine on the patio, and they even brought out water bowls for the pups. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, checking in often to make sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved tossing coins into the fountain, and the lush greenery and gated patio made it feel both beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and letting the dogs stretch out comfortably. After two years of visits, Clark’s still manages to impress us every time. It’s a true gem off I-95 and a shining example of Southern hospitality. ”
“ Melvin and the staff took great care of us at our table in the garden. We were traveling with our dog and it was nice to be able to eat in the lovely garden. Food was very good. A bit too much extras on the Apple fritter made it tough to find the main part of that dish. ”
“ Had an excellent meal here today while travelling home. Ethan was fantastic serving us and the food really hit the spot after a long day on the road. Friendly staff, great food, and a nice little gift shop on the way in/out. If you're travelling I-95 in South Carolina, do yourself a favor and drop by - it's well worth it ”
“ I love Clark’s for so many reasons. Such a quaint southern spot. Somewhat limited menu but food and service is consistently good. My grandmother always insisted on stopping for the liver and onions whenever we traveled, so it holds a special nostalgic place in my and my family’s hearts. Wonderful alternative to all the fast food grossness off of 95! See yall again soon! ”
